a quick, inexpensive

idea Removing

Relish jars,
olive jars and
baby food jars
all work well.
Spray paint
the lids with
a granite spray.
Shampoos
packaged in
cobalt bottle
or brushed aluminum
bottles always
present well.

homemade shampoo

For an added
touch, write
the recipe on
a little card

recipe onto
the bottle with
ribbon or raffia.
Normal hair
is easier to
maintain but
it too can benefit
from a milder
shampoo. For
preparing oil
from above ingredients,
you have to
perform decoction
or infusion
depending on
the herbs you
are using.
Decoction
is carried out
on roots, stems,
and seeds. Infusion
is done on delicate
part of the
plant which
could include
leaves and flowers.
For
decoction use
a stainless
steel or glass
pan with water
and mix herbs
to it. Boil
it to simmer
for 10 minutes.
Let is cool
down. Strain
off the liquid
and discard
the herbs. For
infusion place
herb in a stainless
steel container
or a glass pan
and bring it
to boil for
20 minutes.
Cool the liquid
and discard
the spent herb.
Mix the prepared
solution with
base oil, soap,
and essential
oil. Shake it
well. Refrigerate
the prepared
shampoo.
How
to Shampoo Your
Hair
-
Wet hair
thoroughly
with hot
water-as
hot as
you can
tolerate.
-
Pour
shampoo
into the
palm of
one hand
and then
rub both
palms
together
to distribute
it evenly.
-
Apply
the shampoo
to the
top of
your head
and use
fingertips
to massage
it on
to your
scalp.
-
Depending
on your
hair's
thickness
and length,
you may
need to
repeat
the previous
two steps
for the
rest of
your hair.
-
Rinse
all the
lather
from your
hair with
plenty
of water.
One application
of shampoo
is usually
enough,
unless
your hair
is very
dirty
or has
oil in
it, in
which
case you
might
need a
second
rinse.
-
After
shampooing,
don't
rub your
hair vigorously
which
may break
fragile
hair shafts.
Pat it
dry gently
and wrap
your hair
in a towel.
