Keyoffboard

Description:
KeyOffBoard is a virtual screen
keyboard for Series 60 smartphones
(like Nokia 7610, 6600, 3650,
6630, Siemens SX1 etc). With
this software you can enter
text without using number
keys (0,1... 9, * and #) on
your phone - you can use softkeys
and joystick only.
Originally created
for usage with flip-closed
Nokia 6260 it can be useful
for other models.
Installation:
Attention! Before install
new version close/exit previously
installed by yourself. Go
to KeyOffboard by using shortcut-keys
or choose it handly at menu,
and choose Options->Exit.
In other case new version
of KeyOffBoard possible will
not be installed.
Usage
Please go to phone menu, start
KeyOffBoard application. After
it started - press right softkey
("Done"). Since
now at any time you can press
"ABC" (pen is showed
on it) + "Application"
(you press it when want go
to phone applications menu)
buttons and KeyOffBoard will
go to foreground. You can
move highlighted button by
joystick keys. If you will
press "Fire/OK",
it will be added to string
which will be sent to application
where you pressed KeyOffBoard
shortcut.
Special buttons:
SW - switch to direct edit
string. Can be useful if you
want to use number keys
123/ABC - switch screen keyboard
to number/standard mode
CAP - caps lock
Loc - switch to "additional"
european chars
BS - Backspace
When you want to send entered
text to application from which
you shortcut to KeyOffBoard
- press right softkey ("Done").
